I was browsing around and found that now we have enough options available with us. Just a click and can book ticket, buy groceries, book cabs, book hotels etc. have you ever tried typing search string "Travel in India". You will wonder there thousands of sites who claim to offer you best itinery at the cheapest rates.
I tried booking it once and to my surprise its still a way too long. In india you can get better price if you go directly and do the bookings. I would say the exception to this is Online air ticketing where many players like Yatra, makemytrip, ezeego have made there entry. But they are only good if we restrict ourself to Air ticketing the moment you try to book a hotel or a cab. You will see all sort of differences. You can say its the mentality that india runs on. If you are booking it online that means you are a very rich guy and you can be easily fooled. another thing that they usually forget is that there is always a next time.
Similarly if you are buying anything online say a mobile handset. I think the best bargain is still available at shop. You will end up paying 200-1000 rupees extra on the cost that you can get at your nearest dealer. But then you should be able to bargain.

The world is just a click away
In my previous blogs I have discussed about how india is moving ahead and how the world appears to be very small to us. Now I would be talking about How and when we made the world just a click away.
Let me talk about myself first I am working for a leading MNC as Senior software engineer. Along with this job I work as an adviser to one of the company called adas technologies ( www.adastechnologies.com ). This company is basically more of website development company along with some of the software operations where I come into the picture. I have done some work to make the companies product line a strong one.
Why I am telling you all this is because I am about to talk about how india is adopting to the changed in the internet world. I would love to share a small instance that took place few days back when I was in a meeting with one of my clients at adastechnologies (www.adastechnologies.com). His age was around 55 and while talking to him I got a gut feeling that he knows very little about the internet. Then what he is doing with me you wont believe he was meeting me for a website development for his business. And whats his business? He does import export of goods from and to China. He wanted a portal where everyone can come can have look at the product line that he can offer to be import or export from India.
Did anybody imagined 5 yrs back that you can buy anything from China sitting at your home and the delivery is done at your home without any custom issues.
The website (www.importsfromchina.in) provides a total solution for imports of any products from China to India and also the other parts of the world. One just has to name the product he wishes to import. He would get that at his door-step in the minimum possible time and at the most economical price. One may be a merchandise importer, a trader, a builder, a hotelier, an industrial consumer or he may simply be a household consumer.
This is what I would say is the biggest achievement that India has done. A totally computer illiterate is now the owner of a single window service and one of the leading portals.

After United states of America, United kingdom , Now its our turn to be a super power now. We are emerging as one of the best work force across the world. Every where in the world we are proving ourselves as the best. If you see across the globe we are the one who are driving the technology.
For IT to infrastructure, From Banking to Production industries India is emerging as superpower. Take Mittals, Ambanis, TATAs, BIRLAs they are now the one who are looking out of India and are behind the global assignments.
Its the time now when Indians are the one who drive the webworld. Its Indians who made Orkut a youth icon, Its Indians who are now the target audience for every coming website.
